About Liis Fragrances

Liis is an independent California fragrance house founded by Alissa Sullivan and Leslie Hendin.

Although Alissa and Leslie grew up only minutes from one another, they did not meet until years later while living abroad. Both had collected perfume from a young age and shared a fascination with fragrance's transformative qualities.

Alissa trained at the renowned ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, while Leslie brings a background as a designer, artist, and self-taught perfumer.
