Liis is an independent California fragrance house founded by Alissa Sullivan and Leslie Hendin.

Although the two grew up only minutes apart, they did not meet until years later while living abroad. Both had collected perfume from a young age, fascinated by its transformative qualities, and their friendship eventually developed around a shared love of fragrance.

Alissa trained at the renowned ISIPCA perfumery school in Versailles, while Leslie brings a background as a designer, artist, and self-taught perfumer.
